The team was called by North Yorkshire police to come to the aid of a young walker who had injured his knee whilst out walking. The conditions were challenging as heavy snow was falling by the time we received the call out. The team's Land Rovers & drivers managed to successfully negotiate the tricky conditions through the tracks and fields above Hole Bottom to reach the casualty. On reaching him the expedition leader and the casualty were well prepared and sheltered in their own bivvi shelter. The team provided casualty care and quickly loaded the young man in to the warm team vehicle for return back to our base for collection by his leader.
