A mountain biker from a group was reported to have fallen off his mountain bike and was unable to stand. SARLOC was used to confirm the casualties location at the far end of the Skirethornes quarry. The team arrived in heavy rain and found the group was dressed well for the appalling weather conditions, the casualty had a silver survival blanket wrapped around him. We found him near the mountain bike. An examination diagnosed a suspected neck of femur injury, appropriate first aid and painkillers were given. The casually was loaded onto the stretcher and transported to the team vehicle and then driven to RV with YAS at quarry entrance.
