The team was called at 6pm to search for a 14 year old boy who had become upset and run away from his family in Burnsall. Initial searches included the car park field, rivers left and right upstream and downstream. Whilst conducting these searches a potential sighting was reported of a child heading upstream around Loup Scar at about the right time and the searches were extended along the upstream river banks to Grassington. Shortly afterwards a member of the public found the lad sitting in the grass verge on the main road between Grassington and Hebden and nearby team members, along with the police, were dispatched to locate him. Fortunately, he was found unharmed and reunited with his family.
