Whilst out on a pre-arranged training exercise in the Coniston Dib area, a call was received from North Yorkshrie Police for the team to assist a 70 year old Female who had slipped nearby and possibly broken her ankle. She was part of a walking group heading to Ketttlewell on the Dalesway. Two members from the training group were dispatched to run to the scene, while other members went down the dib to drive the team vehicle to the casualty site. The casulaty was treated for a broken ankle. The team splinted her injury & then it was a short carry to the team vehicle which was driven off the fell to RV with a road Ambulance at UWFRA base.
