The Team was called out by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the rescue of a ninety year old gentleman who had slipped over and banged his head whilst walking round Thruscross Reservoir. Helimed 99 arrived on scene just ahead of our first members. Having assessed the casualty the Helimed crew decided that they would transport him the short distance back to Whitmoor Farm and the road Ambulance. The team stood by in case they were needed and once the casualty had been transferred we stood down.
