On Sunday evening the team was called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist an 11-year-old male who had fallen and sustained a leg injury. He was also struggling to breathe. The first team member on the scene was able to assess that we could gain access with the team vehicle, allowing most of the team to stand down. Once on site, the casualty was transferred to the waiting ambulance.
