Duration: 3hr 18min
Total attendance: 56hr 6min
The team was called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service for a 13 year old male who had fallen whilst mountain biking, suffering a suspected fracture to his right elbow. Two team members were out on the moor already and diverted to the scene along with four team members in Fell 1 (Mountain Rescue Ambulance) which was at an open day at Skipton Ambulance Station. The casualty had suffered an obvious arm injury but, due to the mechanism, we were unable to rule out other injuries and so the casualty was immobilised and carried via stretcher to the ambulance waiting on the road.
