Injured female Ilkley Moor

The team was called to assist in extracting a 72 year old female walker who had taken a tumble at the top of the quarry. The team administered pain relief and splinted what was a suspected lower leg fracture. A rope system was then set up to enable a safe lower to the quarry bottom, after which the team stretchered the casualty down to the road and to the waiting ambulance.
