Female fallen Trollers Gill

The team was called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist in locating a walker somewhere in Trollers Gill with potential unknown injuries. Team members located the injured casualty who had taken a tumbling twenty metre fall down a grassy bank and sustained a suspected dislocated shoulder. The casualty was assessed and treated before being placed in a stretcher and carried for one kilometre over uneven and challenging terrain to the waiting ambulance for onwards travel to hospital.
