Stranded vehicle and occupants. Scar House Nidderdale

A call came in at approximately 9pm from North Yorkshire Police asking for assistance in helping rescue people whose vehicles were stuck in the snow near to Scar House reservoir. A small team from Grassington set off in the sub-zero, snowy conditions to come to the aid of the stranded parties. However, as the team approached the reservoir the team were met by drivers who had managed to self recover but with limited mobile phone coverage were unable to let the team know.
