Injured climber Kilnsey Crag

The team was called by the North Yorkshire Police to assist a lead climber who had taken a fall whilst trying to clip in his third piece of gear. Unfortunately, he landed heavily from approximately 10m on his feet and sustained injuries to both ankles. The team applied pain relief and splinting before stretchering him to a waiting road ambulance for onward transport to hospital.
