Dog rescue Thruscross reservoir

A local team was called out to help carry out a dog who had been bitten by an adder. Poor Elsa, who also happens to be one of our leaders dogs, was nipped on the nose whilst out for her daily walk. The first member on scene was able to carry the dog to the walker's car where she was transported very quickly to the local vet. Initially she was quite unwell, but thankfully, after being given the anti venom she is a lot better.
