Injury Nidd Gorge

We were called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service after a man was injured whilst out enjoying one of his regular walks with his wife.

After being accidentally knocked over by an over-enthusiastic puppy, he sustained an isolated ankle fracture. Working alongside the Ambulance crew, our volunteers helped provide casualty care before carrying him by stretcher back to the waiting ambulance.
