Male suspected stroke Trollers Gill

The Team were called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a medical emergency in Trollers Gill after a man in his 50s suffered a suspected stroke.

Our team transported the ambulance crew safely into the gorge, where the casualty was quickly located. While the paramedics carried out their assessment, team members identified a suitable landing site for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Once the aircraft was on its way, the casualty was carefully stretchered from the gorge to the landing zone before being flown to hospital for further treatment.
