The team was called to Knaresborough after a 47-year-old man fell from his mobility scooter while travelling along a track. He sustained an ankle injury that left him unable to bear weight.
Working alongside our Yorkshire Ambulance Service colleagues, team members recovered the casualty and his mobility scooter to the track, where he was assessed by paramedics before being carefully stretchered to the waiting ambulance for onward transfer to A&E.
Team members returned his mobility scooter safely to his vehicle, before personally delivering his keys to him while he was receiving treatment in A&E.
