The team was called out by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a sixteen year male old mountain biker with a suspected fractured shoulder. The casualty had come off his bike in the woods above White Wells on Ilkley Moor. The team treated the casualty initially and were then supported by Yorkshire Ambulance and the Hazardous Area Rescue Team paramedics. Pain relief was administered and the injury splinted enabling the casualty to walk off the fell with assistance. He was then driven down from White Wells in a team vehicle to meet the waiting ambulance.
