Female in river

The team was called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Services after a 53-year-old woman fell into a river. Thankfully, she was out of the water when emergency services arrived but had sustained suspected wrist and ankle injuries.

With difficult access and a stretcher evacuation required, Yorkshire Ambulance Service was also tasked. After treatment at the scene, our team transferred the casualty onto a stretcher and carried her across a narrow bridge to the waiting road ambulance
