Male collapsed Barden Fell

The team was called out by the North Yorkshire Police to assist an 80 year old man who had collapsed and was unable to get up.

Bolton Abbey Estate were contacted who sent a vehicle to assist. They contacted the casualty party directly and determined that they should be able to recover the casualty without assistance from Fell Rescue. UWFRA team leader already on scene met up with Bolton Abbey team to go to casualty site. Fell 2 held at access to to Laund Lane whilst requirements assessed.Team leaders assessed the casualty and decided no further resources were required. Fell 2 remained at scene until casualty returned to their vehicle at Barden Bridge.
