Female fallen Cow and Calfe

The team was called out by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to the Cow and Calf Ilkley to assist a lady to a waiting ambulance. She was reported to have fallen 10m. It was ascertained that the advertised 10m fall was more likely a 3-4m broken fall and the paramedics diagnosed an isolated leg injury with no indication for back or neck complications.

With enough people on scene to assist it was decided to use those already on scene and the ambulance scoop, instead of awaiting Fell 2 arrival, and the patient was quickly transferred to the waiting ambulance for onward transport to hospital.
