2026/4
Attendees: 8
Duration: 0hr 53min
Total attendance: 7hr 4min
At 14:39hrs on 18 February 2026, UWFRA Team Leaders were asked to attend to a member of a group near the entrance to Sleets Gill Cave who had reported feeling unwell.
The casualty was reported to be weak and had been sick several times, though they remained lucid. They were sheltering with their group in an orange emergency shelter while awaiting assistance.
By the time the first team member reached the casualty, their condition had improved enough to allow them to be walked back to the roadside. From there, they were able to continue their onward journey in their own vehicle. We are pleased to report that the individual is recovering, and we wish them a full and speedy recovery.
