Call Out #50 – Thursday 9th October 2025 – Farnhill

The team was contacted by North Yorkshire Police following a report of a light seen on Farnhill Pinnacle, with concerns that someone might be stuck or in difficulty.

A team vehicle and several local members were deployed to investigate. Upon arrival, the area around the Pinnacle and surrounding paths was thoroughly checked, but no one was found in need of assistance.

After further enquiries, it was concluded that the reported flashing lights were likely from people using torches earlier in the evening. This incident was therefore recorded as a false alarm with good intent.

The team was stood down and returned to base shortly afterwards.
