The team was called out by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a mountain biker who had come off their bike and had a chest injury.

Having checked the casualty location, we contacted the duty manager at Bolton Abbey Estate and requested that they open the gates to permit the Ambulance to access the moorland tracks.

Fortunately, with their assistance, the Ambulance was able to drive all the way to the casualty location and the team were stood down.

The duty manager then assisted in getting the casualty's bike off the moor.
