Fallen female Bolton Abbey

The team was called out by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist a 76 year old lady who had fallen down the embankment close to the river Wharfe and sustained a leg injury.

Fell 3 accessed the area via the riverside track to the Strid, Fell 2 and remaining members met at the Caravan park entrance and drove down the track along with the casualty's husband and YAS paramedic.

On arrival at scene the YAS paramedic treated the casualty assisted by the team, they were then stretchered back up to the waiting road ambulance.
