Call to Fewston Reservoir

The team was called out on New Year’s Day to assist an 81 year old lady who had slipped on the frozen embankment of Fewston Reservoir. Suffering a suspected broken arm and facial injuries the team administered pain relief and splinted the injury. As she was very cold it was then a rapid evacuation in the team stretcher to the waiting road ambulance.
