Fallen fell runner

The team was called out by the Yorkshire ambulance service to reports of a fallen fell runner who had begun fitting in Skipton Woods. On arrival at the scene the casualty was already in the safe hands of the ambulance crew and had recovered sufficiently to begin walking out without our assistance. The team continued in with the stretcher in case the situation deteriorated & were stood down as soon as the casualty was in the ambulance.
