Personal locator beacon alarm

We received a call from North Yorkshire Police asking us to investigate a personal emergency beacon which had been triggered near Kidstones. While team members were on route efforts were made to contact the individual using information provided by the beacon supplier. It was quickly established it was triggered in error and the team was stood down.
