Male fallen near Kettlewell

The team was called out by the North Yorkshire Police to assist a 77 year old gentleman who had fallen, after his leg had given way, and was now unable to walk any further. The initial location put the casualty on Old Cote High Moor in an unlikely looking place. However, the reporting party was able to describe the location and it was ascertained to be just off the Kettlewell - Starbotton road. The team assessed the casualty, stretchered him to the team vehicle, and then transported him back to Kettlewell. His friends were also transported to Kettlewell where they made arrangements to take the casualty to Airedale hospital.
