A call from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist a female walker who had fallen and was unable to bear weight on her leg. We manged to locate the casualty using phone find This established that she was at Rylstone cross. The first team member to reach the casualty carried out a primary survey and confirmed an isolated ankle injury. Once a team vehicle was on scene equipment was quickly taken up to the casualty and she was treated by team members before being carried by stretcher to the team Land Rover and driven off the fell and to her own vehicle. She was driven by her companion to hospital.
