Female with ankle injury Simon's Seat

The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police for a 44 year old female who had sustained a possible fracture of her ankle 800m from Simon's Seat above Appletreewick. The team deployed three vehicles and walked in from Howgill to avoid blocking the lane. After treating for pain and splinting, the casualty was stretchered down to a road ambulance. Given the ages of the children, the team then transported the rest of the party back to their accommodation.
