Female with ankle injury Grass Woods

The team were called this afternoon by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist a 65 yo female with a serious ankle injury. Local members in the area were quickly on scene to assist the lady, who also had a broken wrist . The air ambulance was deployed to the incident and provided the casualty with pain relief before the team transported her by stretcher to the helicopter to be taken on to hospital.
