For 75 years UWFRA has been rescuing people and animals from the caves, mineshafts, fells and crags of Wharfedale, Nidderdale, Littondale and Mid-Airedale. Our rescue services remain free to all who need us, day or night and are financed entirely by fundraising events and donations.

The Wharfedale Three Peaks Challenge

17th Jun 2024: Female knee injury Huby
The team was called out by the Yorkshire Police to assist a lady who had slipped climbing over a stile and injured her knee. The team attended, provided casualty care, splinted the injured joint in a vacuum split and stretchered her out from the fields.
