The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a 56 year old male with an injured ankle. The casualty who was reported to suffer from multiple medical conditions, was treated by YAS medics before being stretchered by the team to a waiting ambulance.

The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist with an injured woman near Beckermonds in Upper Wharfedale. The casualty who had sustained lower leg injuries, was treated by team members before being stretchered to a waiting ambulance by the team aided by members of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team.

Cow and Calf Rocks, Ilkley Moor
The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, to assist with a 59 year old man who had suffered a lower leg injury at the Cow and Calf Rocks near Ilkley. Local team members who were quickly on the scene, assisted ambulance service personel to carry the casualty to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, which had landed close by.

The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service with rescuing a man and dog who had become stuck between a steep slope and the water's edge at Bolton Abbey. NYFRS managed to rescue the casualty whilst the team was on route and the team was stood down.

Strid Wood near Bolton Abbey
The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a man who had fallen down an embankment close to the river Wharfe in Strid Wood. The casualty who had sustained chest injuries was treated by the ambulance crew before being stretchered up the embankment to a waiting road ambulance then transferred to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Litton
The team was called by North Yorkshire Police for a male with suspected broken leg on the fell above Litton. Team walked to the casualty where they carried out an assessment, they administered pain relief and splinted the lower leg, before putting patient into the stretcher for carry off the hill to waiting road ambulance.

How Stean Gorge
The team was called by the North Yorkshire Police to search for a group of twenty one school children who had been reported missing on a walk from How Stean Gorge. The students had set off in smaller groups to complete a walk near their campsite and had become disorientated, possibly following route markers from previous events in the area. 15 were located on the road near Ramsgill by a Team member and escorted / transported back to their camp by the Police and the Team. The Team and locals searched the nearby roads and located the final 6 students just as it was getting dark. Once they realised they were lost the students sensibly grouped together and headed into the valley bottom where they were located enabling the search to be brought to a swift and successful conclusion. Thanks to the locals and How Stean Gorge staff who assisted in the search.

The team called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a Male who had fallen 10ft with ankle and shoulder injuries. Team members who arrived on scene before the team Land Rover assisted the YAS crews and carried the patient to the road ambulance.

Brimham Rocks
The Team was called by YAS requesting assistance with a casualty who had sustained an ankle injury at Brimham Rocks. Team members who were nearby headed directly to scene, arriving at the same time as the ambulance and, with the casualty close to the road, the remainder of the Team were stood down. The members on scene assisted the YAS crew in moving the casualty into the ambulance.

The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist with an injured walker on Great Whernside. The 39 year old female casualty had slipped and injured her ankle whilst descending from the summit. After Team members had treated the casualty, she was stretchered down to a waiting road ambulance.

The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, after reports that a boy had fallen 40 feet at Brimham Rocks. Fortunately the child's mother, who was a GP, reported that a rescue would not be required, so the team was stood down.

Swan Dike Pot, Pen-y-ghent Gill
The team was called by North Yorkshire Police at 21.45 on Saturday night to investigate a party of four cavers who were overdue in Swan Dike Pot, above Pen-y-ghent gill. Two of the party had made their way out of the cave and reported that one member of the party was stuck behind a tight section of passage. The team was assisted by CRO and after several hours the casualty was assisted through the constriction and was on the surface by 05.00 on Sunday morning. Safe and well. The team then de-rigged the cave and returned to base. We would like to thank CRO for their assistance and Swaledale MRT for being on standby.

The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a 22 year old female who had fallen and injured her ankle. Fortunately, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance was able to land near the casualty, and transported her to a waiting road ambulance. The team was then stood down en route.

Bolton Abbey
The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist with the search for a vulnerable woman who had last been seen three days previously at Bolton Abbey. Police and UWFRA search teams were deployed in and around the river and surrounding countryside. The woman's body was eventually located in the river.Our deepest condolences go to her family and friends.

Today the team were call by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assitist with a male found in the woods at Sharp Haw. The people who made the call to YAS attemped resussiation but when the Air Ambulance crew arrive on scene they confirmed that the man was deacesed. The team carried the man off the fell for North Yorkshire Police. Our deepest condolances go to the family.

Great Whernside near Kettlewell
The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist a family lost in bad weather conditions on Great Whernside. Whilst the team were being deployed the police contacted the family and confirmed their location was on the summit, where they were told to stay put and wait for assistance. Team members soon located the casualties and after warming them, they were escorted back to the team Land Rovers and transported back to Kettlewell.

The team was called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with a 64 year old male cyclist who had fallen off his bicycle. The casualty had sustained shoulder and leg injuries, but his exact location was unclear. A team leader contacted YAS control, and established the man's location as being at Hill Farm Cafe, and that the teams assistance would not be required.
